Tap & Go with TransporaBus

It's now easier than ever to pay for your bus travel in Lancashire & on our 'OnTheWyre' service 24 using contactless technology.Using your contactless card, phone, or smart watch:• ‘Tap on’ the ticket machine when you board• ‘Tap off’ on the card reader when you get off – there will usually be an additional card reader to make it easier to ‘tap off’ but if there isn’t you can tap off on the ticket machine at the front of the bus

The system calculates your fare based on where you board the bus and where you get off. Your card is charged the single fare for each journey you make – if you make further trips on the same day the cost is capped at the price of a Day Ticket.

Always remember to tap off, when you exit the bus or you will be charged the full route rate, regardless of where you get off.
